Ingredients
¼ cup heavy cream (have another ¼ cup on hand for thinning if desired.)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
½ cup Mayonnaise preferably homemade
½ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon dried dill
½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
broth optional – for thinning
Instructions
- Make the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together ¼ cup heavy cream and apple cider vinegar. Let the mixture rest for about 10 minutes so it can thicken slightly.
- Add the Flavor: Stir in the mayonnaise, sour cream, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, dill, and black pepper. Whisk until the dressing is smooth and creamy.
- Adjust the Texture: If you prefer a thinner dressing, slowly whisk in a little extra cream or even bone broth until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Store and Enjoy: Pour the finished ranch into a jar or any airtight container. Keep it refrigerated, and it’ll stay fresh for up to a week.
